Snoring makes lonely
Well-trained dentists and dental technicians can help them. Snoring is one of the most common side effects at night. Not only the person affected suffers from it, but also a possible life partner can gladly do without the nightly noise level. Our snoring splints help you to keep the airways free and prevent the lower jaw from falling backwards at night. Tap snoring splints are also biocompatible and free of nickel, so they are particularly well tolerated. Tap splints do not produce any annoying background noise, they are small and fit unobtrusively into any travel or ladies' handbag.
Scientific surveys show that up to 60% of men and up to 40% of women over the age of 60 snore.
By the age of 30, 30% of men and 10% of women snore.
Up to 10% of those affected suffer from pathogenic symptoms such as, morning headaches, daytime tiredness, depression, heart arrhythmia, high blood pressure and stroke.
Snoring is particularly dangerous when the airway narrows or even closes completely, causing breathing difficulties or the well-known breathing stops. After 10 seconds, breathing interruptions are called apnea (lack of wind). The interruption of breathing leads to a dramatic drop in blood oxygen saturation, a drop in heart rate and an increase in blood pressure.

To make a bleaching splint, the dental technician needs two working models for the upper jaw and one model for the lower jaw.
Additionally we need a silicone bite.
To make the required working models, there are two impression methods, the analogue and the digital version
The best known analogue method is the alginate impression, which is taken in a dental practice.
Your dental impression is sent to a dental laboratory after the impression is taken, for the creation of a model. In the dental laboratory, the impressions are poured with plaster and the dental laboratory makes 2 working models from it.
The second possibility is a digital impression, the digital data obtained are converted directly into 2 digital working models via a 3D printing process. As there is no risk of aspiration (swallowing or inhalation) or choking of the impression material, the digital intraoral impression is safe and much more comfortable for the patient.
